Delivery Options & Info
Growth Form Succulent with 1 main, tall, upright stem that branches densely.
Foliage Small leaves attached directly to the stem. The leaves fall off quickly, leaving the stem bare throughout the year.
Stem White, 4-sided stem mostly white with a few grayish green spots and lines. The stem margins are distinctly wavy, forming a zigzag pattern. The ridges along the leaf margins are armed with pairs of short, grayish spines. The branches from the main stem curve upward gently in a candelabra-like shape with smaller branches forming near the tips.
Flowers This cultivar rarely produces flowers. The small flowers are arranged in a yellowish inflorescence known as a cyathium. Cyathia appear in pairs near the tips of the stems.
Cultivation Can be grown in full sun where it receives most of the morning sun. Intense afternoon sun may cause the stems to burn. This hybrid requires well-drained soil that is allowed to dry out between waterings. Care should be taken to avoid the toxic white sap which can irritate the eyes, skin and mucous membranes.
